Core Values
Our Core Values define the mission and vision of cfa.
1. Being Christ-Centered: cfa exists to be a Spirit-led, biblically based community focusing on Jesus Christ through Worship, Witness, Fellowship, Discipleship, Prayer, and Ministry (Eph. 3:16-19, Heb. 12:2, Mat. 18:20, John 15:4-5, Col. 1:18).
2. Doing Life Together: cfa believes that life is done best when experienced with others through Serving, Learning, Growing Spiritually, Celebrating, and Spending Time with one another (Acts 2:42, Eph. 4:3-6, Heb. 10:24-25, Eccl. 4:9-12, Gal. 6:1-2).
3. Growing Spiritually: cfa values discipleship through Sunday morning celebration services and small groups in an effort to meet the needs of every stage of life through God's Word, Prayer, and Fellowship (Heb. 6:1, Eph. 4:15, Eph. 2:19-22, Col. 2:6-7, Matt. 28:19-20).
4. Serving Others: cfa believes that God has uniquely gifted every individual to live out the love of Jesus through serving our own families at home, in a ministry at cfa, locally to our neighbors, and/or abroad through foreign missions (Luke 19:10, Jas. 2:26, Gal. 5:13, Eph. 4:16, 2 Cor. 9:12-13, Phil. 1:4-6, Gal. 6:9-10, Deut. 10:12).
5. Being Relevant: cfa strives to be relevant in every aspect of what we do by using what is cultural to say what is timeless (1 Cor. 9:22, 2 Tim. 2:15, 1 Chr. 12:32, John 1:14).
6. Pursuing Excellence: cfa pursues excellence in all we do so as to honor God and inspire people (1 Cor. 3:10-14, 1 Cor. 10:31, 1 Tim. 4:15, 1 Tim. 4:12, 1 Thes. 1:3. Eph. 5:15-16, Col. 3:23-24, 1 Pet. 1:15-16).
